Alexander FINLAYSON was born in 1803 in Lochalsh, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland. He and Rebecca MCKAY had the following children:

 

	Marion Haddow FINLAYSON (1838- ). Marion was born on 28 June 1838 in Lanark, Lanarkshire, Scotland. She married Archibald PARK on 28 April 1865 in Lanark, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
	Margaret FINLAYSON (1836- ). Margaret was born on 12 July 1836 in Lanark.
